Postdigital backlash -conference in Zagreb
JUNE 22-23, 2026
The conference proved to be a valuable forum for meeting colleagues from across the globe. Engaging conversations and conference presentations addressed multiple perspectives on postdigital education, exploring how GenAI is transforming education globally and the multilayered expectations and concerns it raises.
The RESHAPE project was presented by Anni Silvola, with a presentation titled “Postdigital Agency as a lens for AI-student collaborations: Theoretical and methodological reflections,” co-authored by Anouschka van Leeuwen, Hanni Muukkonen and Jeroen Janssen. The presentation focused on operationalizing postdigital agency in the context of collaborative problem-solving, with particular attention to identifying the agentic dynamics of students and AI in situations where they interact.
The conference offered an important opportunity to discuss different approaches and conceptualizations of postdigital research, and to connect with new colleagues across disciplines working on postdigital themes. We continue our analyses of postdigital agency in the RESHAPE project.
